Day 4: All can be authors
Tired of screens? Too cold to go outside? Jump into some writing over the break! Writing is an excellent brain workout as it involves phonics, comprehension, grammar, creativity, and working memory. It can also be fun for all ages!
Have a reluctant writer? Check out these ideas. Not sure what to write about? Try some of these genres. Or perhaps you’d like your child to reflect on 2020 and look ahead to 2021.
You may even decide to create a designated writing space in your home. Developing a love of writing in your child can have life-long benefits.
