Day 2: Math is everywhere
Math tends to get a bad rap, but it is something we use everyday, whether we realize it or not. Problem-solving, algebraic reasoning, and even geometry are valuable skills to develop at any age.
But math can be fun too, especially during the holidays! Practice some algebra with these printable sheets (there are 12!), multiplication and division with these color by number sheets, or problem-solving with the Grinch!
Reading together about math concepts can be fun with this list of picture books from Stanford University. And online math games can give screen time an academic boost (even for your high school student!) at Math Playground, Education.com, JLab, ABCya, MathNook, and BrainPop.
